IL2 sturmovik question?
 

Hi!

I have Il2 Sturmovik 1946 pc game and latest 4.12.2 patch.

Can i start "Quick mission" in airport on the ground? Now the game starts in the air.

Is this possible or not?

You can start on the ground if you select "scramble" as the mission target.

Thanks it works! What about Pilot career? Same or not?

Career always takes off from ground, expect to be in a group.

#1 New player career problem is that the group leaves them behind.

Answer is to get airborne, gear and flaps up then stay level until your speed is up over 320-360kph then climb shallow enough that you start to gain. Fairly soon you will be at the same altitude and need to slow down to get in formation.
You can make yourself leader but better to learn to keep the nose down and make speed first. Flying near stall soaks up power, get your nose down to gain speed.

In IL2, Trim matters and Slip matters, both more than slightly.

Ok. I just wonder how can i fire RK344 X4 missile? ( What settings or keys)?

You use the bomb sight up/down/left/right keys, which you probably need to set up to something of your liking first.
