Some questions...
 

1. On using the Spitfire IIa, seems like the mixture only has two settings full and none. Any reason for this?

2. Which airfields feature concrete runways instead of dirt?

2. they are numerous for both types...zoom in on the field in fmb is one way to identify, study the map icon is another

Spit IIa had auto mixture in effect. I don't think it's on or off but a setting for all normal flight parameters - take off, landing, combat - and a setting for economical cruise. No need to touch it.

Also, in the video settings I had Roads turned off, so all the runways were dirt. Enabling Roads fixed it right up. Thank you all.
