Hawker Hurricane V6722 A/C designation

Hello,
I'm doing to research on Hurricane V6722 flown by my 2nd cousin Sgt SA Fenemore who was shot down and killed on 15/10/1940 while serving in No. 501st Squadron.
I'm specifically looking for V6722's aircraft designation at the time of his crash but have been unable to determine the letter.

Based on the last entry of his flight log on 12/10/1940 he flew in "M". It has been suggested that V6722 was aircraft "M", however in his last 8 sorties from 7/10/1940-12/10/1940 he flew in aircraft "J" four times and "G", "A" and "M" once each.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,
RW Vose

I just did a quick google search, as you no doubt have done yourself. But I came across something that you may have missed and might be useful.
I found a thread where someone called Andy Saunders comments briefly on the aircraft. when I went to his tumbler account it seems he is quite a distinguished historian, writing about the Battle of Britain etc. You might ask him about the plane. He can be contacted on the 2nd link below, if you go to 'contacts' at the top of the page.

I hope this helps.

I did see Mr. Saunders' post, but didn't think about contacting him. Good call. Thanks for the suggestion and the link to his tumbler account.
