DVD won't install IL-2 1946
 

Hi folks,

I've decided to install 1946 on my system after some years again (always a wise choice, yes :mrgreen:) However, as soon as I insert the dvd it won't start at all whilst previously it would start right away and install fine.

I've tried various other games as well which all install properly.
In the case of 1946... no way to get it even spinning, no disk icon and I can't open the disk.
Could it be a securom issue (:evil:) and if so, is there any workaround you know of?
FYI, the disk is not compromised.

Any advise is appreciated.
