Compatability
 

Will any versions of this game work with the new windows programs? Like the new windows 8? Maybe even windows 7? I'm wanting to get involved in this game but don't know what pc windows systems work with it? TIA

Works fine on pretty much anything... no problem on XP and generally speaking no problems on Vista, 7, or 8 except for some minor issues with the installer not kicking in properly but this can be circumvented easily should the issue arise. Also, do not install to the default C:\Program Files directory under Vista/7/8. It's a protected directory and IL-2 doesn't know how to handle that properly. Install to C:\Games or something else (your choice!) and it'll be fine.
