Sandbag crashing?
 

I have the updated 2.05.15 patch and when I build a sandbag breast work(with mortars and machine guns), I crash.

Its possible your game is not patched properly, if you using non steam patching then make sure you used proper patch for either non goty or goty version, but safest way is to register ur cd key with steam and have steam auto patch you.

Would that mean using the GameSpy key on steam??? I have retail, not GOTY.

Yes you can register your game with steam using the cd key, and yes gamespy cd key.
