Two questions...

1- Im with the USS and am instructed to go to the NEVER system to help in a battle against the angorians which includes the MSF until more USS reinforcements come...then an animation starts which shows a big ship firing and destroying other big ships and a narration saying that the corporations got back their power...and the game ends

Is there a way to make the game continue without reloading a previously saved game ?

2- If i reload a previous auto-saved game to try another game branch, almost all portals dont work and im stuck...again...i guess this is a bug... :( Any way to avoid this bug and avoid having to start the game from the very begining ?
