I bought the game from steam yesterday but i'm not able to play it at all. Everytime i try to load any mission (sp/mp) the loadin bar goes to nearly full and then the game crashes with no error message or anything.

No help here?
Well.. not really a suprise. It seems that this is getting this sim running is like winnig in lottery.. not likely |
Have you tried reinstalling it? Solves it sometimes...
And informations about your system would be helpful btw. |
You should list your system specs for the tech guys here to be able to look at. A wild guess is that you don't quite have the required oomph for the game but I could be wrong on that ?
Edit: Looks like I was typing while someone else was posting. Give these guys a little more to go on and they will help you |
Thanks for answer.
Yes, i installed it 2 times. My computer is old but i tried with lowest possible settings AMD Athlon(tm) Dual Core Processor 4850e, (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz Memory: 3072MB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5570 1gb Win XP |
try your uac, launch in admin mode..
if you haven't already... |
uac? sorry but i have no idea what that is. how i launch in admin mode?
|
You're running Win XP so you don't have UAC.
The problem I think is that your video card, it's not supported. Even though it has the features required, your particular model is not listed as being supported. http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...rements-Forums You need a fairly beefy system to run this sim and yours is way down the line in terms of grunt. I'd suggest upgrading if you want fly seriously. |
Runoelma,
Don't give up on this, I had this sim running on Vista on a dual core (2.4) and a Nvidia 9600gt 1 gb. and 3gb of ram. Sure I had the system turned down a bit but still had it playable. If you have XP as your system there are some issues associated with XP which were never resolved. You may find that by trying different graphic settings (put everything on low to start and work up from there) that you may resolve your crash problem. |
you need to upgrade, your system to 64bit with more ram.
