Helicopters
 

Came home from a day out fishing to find a fire had started in a bit of bushland about a kilometre or so away from my house.

The Firefighting Helicopters were picking up water from the lake at the golf course a couple of hundred metres away and we were in the flight path.

There were four smaller helitacs and two larger ones.

Sorry about the crappy video from my phone! We had a a lot that went directly over head but I wasn't quick enough.

They managed to get it under control but it's fairly windy today so I guess a few of the poor sods will be up all night making sure it doesn't flair up.
