Still plenty of time before monday ends (a quick calculation)

First, I'll point out that this whole Monday update stems from an off hand remark by Nike-it (ie. isn't official) and was really more of a "mondayish kind of thing" instead of a fixed date.

We also won't take into account latitude because it could get very confusing and I don't have good seasonal data (if anyone has it we can calculate dawn at sea level - although to be really accurate we would need weather data to quantify atmospheric lensing).

Now the interesting part:

- Jewish calenders and those of a large number of people's believe that the day actually changes at dawn (instead of midnight). I think this makes a hell of a lot more sense, so will go with it.

- It will still be September 1st 2008 at the "International date line" (180 degrees lon.) twelve hours after it passes in Greenwich.

We can therefore conclude that Oleg has an extra 21 hours...
(ie. It will still be Sept. 1st until 2100 hours Sept 2nd GMT)

You know in Russia, it's already 7am on Tuesday....

For some people another reason to bitch is as good (or better) then an actual update..."Nike it" is just giving the whiners what they want...now they feel validated...now they can say those words that will validate their whole existence, those words that will make them feel all better and will fill the void that's eating them alive... "I was right" :)

may be that he has not said precisely Monday, but at the beginning of the week, but it sounds like they said in two weeks to updates, and never happened......

When someone told you their would be an up-date in two weeks they where being sarcastic. Oleg has never told us an up-date would be that soon...he just said the up-date would be ready when he had the time to spare. Sorry...

Hi folks!

Here we begin to post development news of BoB.... some time, but not so rare... I hope once per 2-3 weeks or so .... and more close to beta - each week like in old good time with IL-2

Oleg Maddox at 2007

.................................................. .................................................. ...

I am not trying to start a discussion, not wanting to cause a revolt in the community ... I am only a little more disappointed with the lack of information.
I hope that when the news arrives, not like the old pictures of models like all previous, but something really interesting as some in game print screens..

Updates arrive when they arrive period. But on a point of clarity he never ever said Monday, he used the word "Approximately on Monday", then he was asked which Monday and he said "Next Monday". The afore-mentioned "approximately" gives him the entire week in my opinion.
So lets all think about my new x52 Pro joystick I just ordered. It makes me feel better lol

Stop whining.Russians said they would be out of Georgia by Friday a few weeks ago,and they are still there,so dates don't mean a lot.
Be grateful if 1C even acknowledge your existence on this forum, they are very busy people.

Nike explain the lack of update yourself, you will do a lot better job than most of these Oleg worshipers.
