Default convergence?

In the loadout for guns, there is a "default" checkbox for convergence. What is the default distance?

For British planes is 338.3281 (yards, I think).

You can read it and edit in the config file,

In fact in the "User.ini", but data is available only after flying the plane in question one time.

Before this the file (User.ini) is empty for non used planes:

What was convergence typically set for? 300m sounds rather far. I was experimenting with 150 or 200. At longer range a turning target has to be led so much you're shooting blind, since its under your nose.

Try searching for Mr.X advice on convergence. Can not remember figures now. For British planes set it a bit further than his 109 settings.

In English and a few other versions of the game conv. settings are mixed up. Vert. is in fact Hor.

In RU and German versions they are correct. Search for details please.
