4.09 Patch
 

Hi All,
This is my first post here, so hello from Cheshire,UK.
I would just like to ask about the 4.09 beta patch. I have just downloaded the patch, but when i try to open it, it says the file is invalid or corrupted. Can anyone throw any light on what i can do to get the patch. I have tried M4T, but i get the same fault.
Anybody help.

What version did you start with? If you started with the DVD, then upon successful installation, you are at version 4.07. You'll need to DL and install the 4.08m patch first, then will be able to install the 4.09m beta.

Yes i'm at version 4.08m, i was trying to find out why the zip files are corrupted. I only have internet at work, so they let me download any files i need to my desktop, put it on a usb stick and load it on my home pc where the game is. It's just when i go to open the zip i get a big x, and a message saying the zip file is invalid or corrupted.

where can you get the 4.09 beta?

This is only to be installed over 4.08m

I recommend:
1. Make a back up of v 4.08m
2. Install update v4.09b1m

Thanks for the help. I have the patch, but am still having trouble with the skins patch.
