A very interesting web site.

I went ans visited some of the places I lived and worked during my 20 monthis living in London and was surprised at how close some of those bombs got.

Back on topic, are there still UXBs being discovered in London and elsewhere? - I see there was one discovered in 2008.

Yes. At Southend we often see the Bomb Disposal teams going out onto the sand at low tide to deal with bombs dropped into the thames by bombers on their way to and from London.
Once one went off and I promise you that if people think these old bombs are inert they are very wrong. A huge amount of sand and mud went up into the air. I would guess on average the teams are called out once every 6-8 weeks.
