Colors
Maybe this shows how much darker reality is compared to Clod. Mist looks quite alike.

During daytime it looks terrible!! |
I'm afraid that I agree with mcFly.
I have always felt that the CoD colour palette is too bright/luminous. It should be darker and less stark. |

Well, your picture has a lot of clouds. That will dictate how much light gets to the ground. You should take a picture with clear skies, with no fog and haze nd compare it to a similar clod screenshot. Then you can make a fair comparation. I think this kind of whining got clod lighting system all messed up. People whined that clod's mostly clear skies , with no clouds mist or haze, don't look like a day with crappy weather over England. Clouds and haze should be part of the local weather, not general lighting engine. Our online tropical island map shouldn't have the messy look of southern England built into it. Go create a mission with a lot of clouds then you have somthing more apropriate for southern England. Of course the clouds now are all messed up and bring any system to the ground. They tried to "fix" local weather effects with the general lighting engine. Add to that the very wrongly implemented sun glare and you have a messed up world we have now. |

As Anders And says the colours are better early and late but then that is the way it is in real life. Although it probably could look a bit better mid day in game, photographers try to avoid working at this time because colours tend to look flat and washed out especially with any degree of haze.
