How to erase stats

How do you erase your statistics and start over? I have fresh install (I deleted every file and folder from my hard drive) and want to start from scratch, but Steam keeps loading my old stats.

I couldn't find a way to do that. I can make a new account but there will be no games in it. There has to be a way to do this.

You can not erase your statistics in the Steam.

AFAIK, this is problem for the all games in the Steam.

Yes, thanks, I wasn't implying it was anything to do with CoD. I also have a problem with another game that has a corrupt user file and I can't change it.

I think you would need to buy the game again, then new user name as well.

Thanks, but I don't think I'll be doing that. Steam should allow the stats to be reset, its lame.

I think they like to have/retain those numbers as a selling point to new game developers, to sign on with Steam
