PPL ground school videos??????

Hey guys!

Does anyone know of any videos out there to do with the PPL?
Either on youtube or to download/buy somewhere?

I'm looking for something to give an overall picture of each of the subjects on the theory exam, just to get me started.

I'm particularly interested in videos about meteorology, weather patterns and naviagation.

thanks for any suggestions!

Theres loads of stuff, just search youtube for what you wan't, if you wan't to buy study books then drop in to a local flying school, they will most likely stock them or check out online pilot stores.

What is your location?

I'm doing my PPL in Belgium, but I'm British.
I was really looking for some documentary type things I suppose. I've found lots of 1-5 minute stuff on youtube about learning to fly or people showing their first solo etc. I really want more of the theory. My instructors told me that it's the Meteo that most people trip up over in the test. I also find this part of the theory really interesting!

thanks for the suggestions by the way bongodriver

'When you turn the aircraft the wing on the ouside of the turn is moving faster than the innner wing and therefore generating more lift'

This is one thing I learnt from Microsoft Flight Simulator. The older versions of it included flying lessons. I'm not sure if FSX has them. They are an easy way to learn...and as you have an instructor 'in the cockpit' talking to you, you learn a lot faster than from a book.

You could try this mob

http://www.faa-ground-school.com/

They claim to offer half the lessons for free as a trial and then if you want the rest you have to subscribe.
