I uninstalled the game into Steam library,to give it a rest,now when I download ,it instals ok albeit very slowly,but when I try to play it,it appears to be loading ok,the aircraft carrier etc ,intro.but when it goes to the game proper, the graphics are off to one side of the screen,the res. is low,that awful music is playing,but there is no mouse curser,so no control pressing shift,tab,brings a page with an overlay that includes a link to a screenshot of the perfect opening game page,but no curser,I have tried several unistal/reinstals to no avail.

Make sure you delete the old directory files that IL2 was installed into from Steam before re-installing.
