Thanks for that Richie: It's kind of sad to know that there aren't many of these vets around. There's also a series of interviews with Stewart Finney, another SAAF pilot, on youtube. Look up "ww2 desert fighter pilot interview" in youtube search engine. The memories are so clear and they give some excellent insights into air combat. The cgs look familiar...
