system specs on Devs.

This question has been asked many times and it would really help us out a lot in understanding the improvements you see on your machine and what we see on ours.
PLEASE tell us the system specs used in the machines the devs are using. Please include everything including direct x.
please have the devs post here what it is.
I understand that my machine is old but here are my specs anyways.

amd dual core 5400+
M2N plus SLI motherboard
6 gb ram
gtx460 se
520watt PSU
Win 7 ultimate.

According to sukhoi.ru the screenshots in the update were taken under a "debug mode" which is much slower than normal mode. They are given in pairs for comparison only. Thus their system specs can not tell what to expect in normal mode. We'll have to try it on our hardware ourselves.

PS. Drivers and 3rd party software are usually causing trouble not hardware IMHO. Antiviruses, vsync settings, etc. cause much trouble. Anyone interested may have a look at Link (2) in my sig for a checklist.

It's really not that unreasonable to ask what a devs system is when they present some sort of benchmarking info. It's actually quite common for them to list their specs in the related post. I don't understand why it has to be a big secret.

It is not a secret at all. They sad few times i7 870 and GTX570 and again today
on sukhoi naryv one of developers repeated that.

Optimization of particle effects and - optional, included in your effects. Screens with FPS-th made under debug, so FPS is so low is done to show the difference fps. In this version, flew for 1 hour on Repka 4, with optimization turned on and vsinkom without smoothing (as I usually fly) 60 FPS steady, average - 58, with anti-aliasing 8x - 45, average 40. i7 can not remember at what frequency, 4GB RAM Nvidia 570.

Didn't realize we had to go to the russian forum and use translate to get pertinent info.

vranac 07-27-2012 08:15 PM

It was on this forum also.

If this is being supplied to B6 to post, he might not be privy to every little detail on how the screenshots were generated. Now that is assuming that B6 didnt create the shots himself, which sounds like he did not.

BlackSix, if you happen to read this, kick those devs in the butt for not giving you all the info, knowing those were done in debug mode might have saved a little forum space :)

The developers being Russian probably means its going to be easier for them to post there in Russian... sucks, but in the long run the info got to us, as B6 stated, we probably need a liaison for the dev team and this forum that can speak both languages fluently. But right now we dont, and B6 does the best he can...
