I've seen this before.. It's amazing isn't it! It's incredible how well these things get preserved when they are in the desert. It reminds me of 'Lady Be Good' a B24D Liberator which crashed into the desert.. The crew still alive. It's a good story!

No...it wasn't. It was tragic actually. I've often wondered what I would have done if I found myself in their situation.

Sadly the Kittyhawk is now being stripped by souvenir hunters and it's remains are being smashed by vandals. Check out the latest video in the Lounge. The before and afters are heartbreaking.
