Cant save tracks, contol config, etc...
 

I dont know that this is related to the patch so I am starting a separate thread, but if I try to do anything that opens windows explorer, like save or open track or save or open control config nothing happens, and in fact when I try to save a track I actually loose focus on the IL2 window and have to ctrl-alt-del out of the game.

Not sure what could be causing this, I tried rolling back from the patch but no luck, so I dont think its related, hoping some others might have encountered this at some point and might have some suggestions.

Do you disable the Aero Desktop? If so enable it.

Nope not disabled...

I had that same issue some time back...
Make sure that "Disable Visual Themes" is not enabled under the "compatibility" tab of the launcher properties (right click->properties).

That was it, how the heck does that change by itself??? Fraggin gremlins :)
