Manually assigning Axes via notepad?
 

As the title states.

I have a Logitech G940, my rudder pedals are filtered then the output is sent to PPJOY on ID4. Movement of the rudder pedals within Clod results in the UI picking up the G940 rudder pedals on ID3. I would like to manually assign it to the PPJOY axes instead.

Is this possible, if so which file do I need to edit? and where is it located?

The file is called confUser.ini and resides in

C:\User\my username\documents\1C Softclub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover

I actually discovered I could just save my file as whatever I wanted to name it within game.
Once renamed, I just had a look for the Joystick axes and renamed them accordingly.
