Unable to Load saved games
 

This has happened several times now. Something happens to the game and it is unable to load previously saved games. It happened a week ago and it happened last night.

Are others experiencing this? Is there a work-around to be able to continue playing saved games?

Game was updated again with fixes tonight on steam, I believe saved games from previous versions of the game do not work. That mostlikely what happened to you. Its unfortunate if thats the case but at least there wont be any more patches for while.

Just open the saved game folder you want to play and look for the "status" file. You'll see something like this,


{saveinfo
{time 1337466473}
{game_version "1.81.1"}
{type default}
{manager

Just change(backup original first),

{game_version "1.81.1"}

to your new version and save. This works for me 99% of the time.


Here is the path on my Rig for the savedgame folders,

C:\Users\jim\Documents\my games\men of war - assault squad\profiles\player\save

Not sure, make sure your game is stock and use the patches off men of war website, I think for the old men of war game you cant register it with steam which is a shame becuase steam would of update it for you. In any case this is assault squad forum.
