I found this web site and was looking through it and theres a Lot of modding in here for IL2 FB 1946 is this information it provides a ruse or for real?

There was a fake 4.09 readme circulating. Don't know it it is this one though.

HA, I forgot about that thing...yes its fake...all fake. I think (if I remember correct) it was posted on the UBi forum last Thanksgiving (around that time)...

A lot of people where fooled by that thing...sometimes I think that their is still some people who have a "false" impression/memory about that post, and they still expect those "flyable's" in the final patch...(sad)

Heh, the readme has found it's way over here aswell.

I'm the original author of the faked readme, thought I'd have some cheap laughs and made it up in 5 minutes. Tried to include something for everyone, like the modified FW-190s forward view.

HERE is the original thread that started it all and HERE is the one which was copied all over the French, German and English speaking ubi forums and other aircraft-related sites. Note the small but the most important bit in the credits which no one noticed to copy&paste :grin:
