Il2 forgotten battles help
 

Well, it has been years since I have loaded IL2FB onto my machine. I figured my little boy, 8, would love flying around in it.

I got the program to load but am having trouble graphically. Despite several attempts with various graphic settings, the opening screens are abnormally large, off centered, and the mouse will not work, no mouse pointer.

I have an INTEL I7 processor @2.67ghz, 64 bit windows 7 home premium, 2 nvidia GFORCE GTS 250's.

Not sure how to handle this, have not seen this problem before. I know from th forums that this still seems like a very popular title so there must be some workarounds for newer systems.

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I am halfway there. I have gotten the graphics issues cleared up and the program runs very well.

One more problem though. I can not get the program to recognize my CH FIGHTERSTICK and PROTHROTTLE.

I have tried all of the options in SETUP/HARDWARE/CONTROLLER. It is just not seeing it.

Anybody with any ideas for this?

Stupid question to be on the safe side: Do they work in windows?

yup, works with DCS A10-C just fine.

The HOTAS page of IL2 setup does not even recognize that it is there.
