Problem with wheel brake ON and OFF
 

I am having problems with the wheel brake. When I assign a key on the keyboard and hold it down to brake it says it's ON but then straight away says it's OFF again even though I keep my finger pressed down to keep it ON. Can anyone tell me why it's not staying ON with my finger pressed down? Thankyou!!
