Changing the location of 'My Documents'
I want to change the location of MY DOCUMENTS.
Obviously the 1C Softclub folder is in there. Will this cause an issue or do I need to tell CLOD where the new location is? Cheers |
Shouldn't be a problem. I did that for my SSD to move the Docs onto the old data drive.
If you're feeling really flash, you could reinstall in 'audit mode' and move everything about. Might be overkill though... |

just right click on your documents folder, choose the most downward option, then you have a rider called path, change it and let windows move everyting.

Dear lord I wish I'd not bothered :D
I had the option to move the folder and then cancelled it. Then when I tried to do it again I didn't have the option and found all the folders were Read Only. I really hate that windows bug. When I fired up CLOD all my config files had gone back to the standard ones for some reason so now I will have the fun of reconfiguring every thing including controls. |
My motto: If it works, don't touch it...
Always good to have controls backed up somewhere. |
