109's throttle ?
Sorry,If here is the wrong place to post this.
anyone know these 2 parts of me109?use for what, how to use? https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-G...03f95f65_b.jpg |
AFAIK this is for the friction of the throttle lever (you you can adjust the needed force to push it).
I may stay corrected. |
thanks Caspar,You mean the white one?
|
Yes, I'd think the same, white one is friction adjustment, red might be the Brandhahn, essentially controlling fuel flow to the engine. Long time since I had a look into a 109 manual.
|
thanks,JtD.what do you think the red handle used for on top of pic(canopy eject?)and where is the prop pitch which is on the panel under the gunsight(109E3).
|
The red lever is indeed for canopy ejection. Prop pitch is adjusted electrically via a thumb switch on the throttle lever.
I think Whacker mixed up the pit with a very much later version. :D |
maybe the Gustav series :)
