Piano concert
 

Hi all,
do you know the piano concert sounding in the GUI of CLOD? I'd like to know the author. Thank you.

Not sure who the author is. There's no information about that in the file either.
You can access the file though and copy / listen to it outside of the game. It resides in your Steam folder:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\music\

I always liked the piano intro music, and reckon it would have worked even better if they put some original grainy guncamera footage on a corner to run with it on the main screen.

I just wish I could get rid of the 3. Reich song that they have put there. The piano piece is quite nice (almost as nice as that from Rise of Flight which is a real delight).

You can replace that particular piece of music from here:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\music\

The file is "background_de.ogg", replace with one of your own (or copy the gb.ogg file) and rename.

I also like the piano music on the menu screen....what would be cool is if the music stayed when i go in to mission editor....


the german music is kinda annoying...just like it is in the regular IL2 '46
