Logitech Force 3D Pro recognition problem
 

Hello everyone,

My friend is having problems with his joystick. He is running Windows 7 64-bit. The problem is that he can see the joystick in windows where he can even calibrate it, but the game does still not recognize it.
When he installed the game, he selected option that he does not have a joystick, however I guided him to il2setup.exe where he checked the checkbox "enable joystick" and pressed properties just to be sure it can recognize his stick. It did. Also in his conf.ini, he has UseJoy=1. In game, however nothing happens, except a switch in harware>input "enable force feedback." He also tried to assign buttons and axes in controls list, but neither of those worked.

He also tried to reinstall joystick drivers with ones from logitech website, but it didn't fix it.

I am really running out of ideas so any help would be much appriciated.

OK, the problem seems to be solved. For some reason, when my friend tried to start Il-2 today, everything worked flawlessly. I don't know what could have fixed that as he didn't do anything and he has restarted his PC yesterday too :/
