Latest Track IR?

Since the patch is on its way I decided to order some parts for my future sim computer, Logitech's G940 HOTAS and TrackIR 5. As far as I know there is no new TrackIR on the horizon. This setup will be used to fly Sturmovik until my new computer is assembled. Any thoughts on this?
Is it possible to run CLOD and BoM on a notebook with a external screen in let's say 60 fps?

From what I read on different forums Logitech had issues at least in the past. Would never buy it myself (but I am not into feedback).

As for notebook it very much depends on specs, patch performance and resolution. I would recommend a desktop system as more easily overclockable and upgradable but patch will tell.

Depends on the notebook's hardware and external screen resolution. I would venture the guess a notebook able to run CloD in Full-HD is not much of a notebook anymore.

The system in my sig is not able to sustain solid 60 fps in 1920x1200@very high, so you will have to make compromises regarding the eye candy or fps.

I would recommend also getting the optional extra "Trackclip Pro" with the trackir device.

S!

TrackIR 5 has wider FOV so a bit better than 4 or earlier. I am sure you will enjoy flying with TIR after getting used to it :-) My personal opinion on notebooks and gaming..not worth the effort as desktops beat them hands down.
