King's Bounty Mac -- invisible textures bug
 

Having a problem with the Mac version of KB on Steam. Invisible textures on the player character and all NPCs make the game unplayable on my Nvidia GPU. Others are reporting this problem on the App Store and the Steam forums, but I'm not having any luck getting a response from the devs. Does anyone from 1c read these support forums? If so, a fix would be very welcome.

I'm having a similar problem in the steam version of the game.
I'm running on Mac Book Air, very small font size - I can't read what's going on.

I found this post and tried some stuff, but it doesn't seem to help.

I am also unable to visualise units or characters on my macbook pro. Any suggestions??

I have the gamers gate version.

I have the steam version, and I have the same problem. I purchased the game yesterday, I try to play on a MacBook Pro, I have the latest updates for the OS.

I think I've wasted my money ..

Same issue with the Humble Bundle versions of the games. I've emailed support and will let you know if I hear back.

Just for kicks, I turned off v-sync in the Options dialog and bingo, invisible no more. May not work for everyone, but worth a try.

Still having an issue with the font though: textkeepsrunningtogetherlikethis and paragraph breaks (?) are wrong. Doesn't make the game unplayable, just ugly to look at.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Game is completely unplayable. Forums all over the internet show this is a very common problem with the Mac version, whether Steam, Humble Bundle, or directly purchased from 1c.

I've tried resetting all the graphics settings and nothing works. Will have to ask for a refund, I guess.
