Finding Those With Tool Kits...
 

Hello Folks,

Enjoying MOW-AS GOTY edition very much; though I don't get to play it as much as I would like. :(

1. I have a very difficult time finding where there are toolkits: Are there certain units and vehicles in the game that always carry these? Otherwise, I am rummaging through squads' inventory, and eyeballing all vehicles and support units; this wastes a lot of time. There must be an easier way.

2. Is it possible to have an engineering team tab made up? These teams are those that have these toolboxes, having the INF display on left side of your screen which show Engineering (a wrench)? We already see Medic Display (red cross) on the left display for squads that have a medic in them.

Im just new here today but , Im having same problem I cant repair tank. Looking through these post I dont think there is a moderator because it seems a lot of questions are not answered

The "toolbox" can usually be found in vehicles and artillery. If your Tank doesn't have one just check out the nearest and/or safest abandoned vehicle(yours or AI). That's the only way unless you tweak the game.

The fastest way to fix a vehicle is to have one of the crew do it(toolbox in inventory). Chances are by the time you select and send a guy to fix your vehicle, the vehicle will be destroyed or he'll get killed or both. If you give the crew the "fix-it" command sometimes they'll take a "toolbox" from the nearest vehicle that has one.
