Which one of the IL games would you recommend?
Hi,
I've been playing the orgininal IL quite abit in earlier days but broke away from it abit, mostly been flying modern combat sims later but im really eager to get started with the IL series again :P , after all it's the best sim ever, and who dosn't love world war 2. Anyway im thinking of buying them again:rolleyes: any special one to recommened out of the series? (i.e Pacific Fighter, 1946 etc) eventually i tend to get them all again but to start with ^^. Also been following the development of Storm of War since a year back and hey that's shaping up to be a great one , can't wait to get my dirty hands into the battle of britain. // Virre |
1946 has everything on it. It is an FB+AEP+PF+SW+PP/1946 merged installation on the DVD and reflects the latest 4.07 version of the series with everything previous. Just add the 4.08 update and away you go.

vanir is right. 1946 gives you all the previous releases in just one single DVD and it also contains a DVD with some really nice pictures and insights behind the scenes of Storm Of War: Battle of Britain, the upcoming sequel to IL2. |
Thanks guys, now its ordered and can't wait :P
Also going for a new joystick soon ;) |

Got it today and oboy im glad to be back into the simulating ww2 battles :D, Im not sure how the hyperlobby works today so if anyone could give me a hint  I downloaded it and logged up, when i try to search for IL2 exe it asks for IL2.exe , but i have the 1946 game as you know and my exe is named il2fb.exe and the hyperlobby won't recognize it. Open to suggestions im gonna keep trying for a solution in meanwhile. |

I think (iirc) the problem is that Hyperlobby is looking for the wrong folder name, you should be able to manually direct it to the proper folder. Also make sure you havw Version 3.9.111. |
