skins for static planes
 

hi folks!

it`s possible to put skins on static planes? and when, how can i put skins on it. if got lot of skins. but use it only for flyable planes.

AFAIK, no, you can't put skins on static planes. You can't even have markings on them which really sucks and I don't know the reason why such a basic feature isn't in there, sorry.:(

another question: can i switch in other planes and fly them? planes of pilots in the same formation. they have other skins. i can land these planes, and move it on a place in my arfield. so, i can maby manatch my "little problem".
it is possible? how to do it?

You could make them flying AI and make them land.

Then they would be the aircraft you want, however they will taxi and park where they want - unless you block the spawns where you dont want them to park. Care must be taken to block the route to the parking place!

Better yet, why not make them AI and have them with zero fuel so that they just can't take off? Not sure if it works for COD that way or not.

In IL2:46, a plane would vanish after 30 seconds or so if you tried to do it, but maybe it's different with COD.
