Nvidia SLI or single AMD eyfinyti card ?

I wonder whether it is better to use two GF550ti 3GB as a single HD 6850 2GB.I have sli MB (asus P5N32E sli)
Currently I use the HD 5670 1GB to three monitors (3x720x1280)portrait mode.Il-2 run ok on highest settings. COD on low settings (only model high) fps on quick mission 20fps and up. Black death fps from 7 to 30. I use ramdrive to reduce sttutering.

Tanks!

SLI does not work.

Actually it does but, it delivers worst performance than a single card.

So, at the current state of the game, buy yourself the best single GPU you can afford.

One thing you will have to consider is your power supply if you go to sli. Just remember that the power required by two cards will double that required by one. Yes as Grathos says some of us have Sli working but it is not officially supported at the moment with CoD. Luthier say they broke Sli support just before release and haven't fixed it yet. I for one seem to have got it to work reasonably well with almost double the frame rates of one card.
I have EVGA Precision tool monitoring my cards performance and it shows V/ram usage at nearly 1gb on both cards so it looks like V/ram is a big factor at the moment (my cards are gts 450 1gb). Everything else seems to be working as it should in Sli with temps, % and frame rates all about equal with each other. Putting 2 1gb cards in Sli unforunately doesn't give you 2gb of V/ram it still stays at 1gb. I'm hoping that the new graphics patch will make a big difference and my advice is wait until that comes out and then see how your system performs before making a decision.

Thanks for the replies. Since I can not wait for the new patch, I decided to buy HIS Radeon HD7850 2GB (245 EU) or the XFX Radeon HD6870 (212 EU) 2GB. What would you recommend to me. XFX Radeon HD6870 2GB is at a lower price. Or would benefit from a newer card (HD 7850).

Thanks !
Salute all

7850 all day long . Its about 20% quicker than the 6870 and clockes like mad . Also consider the fact its newer architecture , cooler and quieter, and uses less power ... ;)

Thanks for the tip! You're right. I decided to buy a HD7850.
