Wanting to play online...
 

I would like to fly with or against my brother online in a co-op / dogfight. Can some one tell me the steps involved to set this sort of online game up please?

1. Download and install HyperLobby from here: http://hyperfighter.sk/


2. Start HyerLobby.

3. Click on a slot in a room of your choice(coops or Dogfight rooms)....wait for the game to start.

4. ENJOY :)

BTW any hiccups in getting HL can be sorted out either on the HL forums or the HL FAQs ;)


It is actually a very easy piece of software to work with :)

You can also go directly through multiplay, you set up a server, and your brother punches in your ip and joins your game (or vice versa). That part is fairly simple, it's getting the routers, firewalls and anti-virus and such to cooperate that gets sticky. The manual (it's in a pdf in your game folder if you don't have a hard copy) has a decent explanation of how to do it. Having an experienced online gamer can be handy to help the first time.
