question about to to start the game.
 

hi everyone,

i just reinstalled the game after being away for 3 year and i have updated to 4.101 and installed up 3.0 and stab. now i am wondering how i should launch my game since there is two short cuts i have on my desk top now to do so, the original one and the stab one. of coarse i have a widescreen monitor so i want the play in my correct ratio and changing it in the confi wasnt working so i got stab but, i also want to have up 3.0 running because the sounds with out it are well less than desirable.

By 3.0, do you mean Ultrapack 3.0? If so you're better off asking in their forums, I don't think any mods are supported here. The smaller file should be the launcher, though.

yea i mean ultrapack 3.0

the folder jsgmemods should have a subfolder with widescreen in its name (I'm using DBW 1.71 superpack by sas1946.com which is built over UP3) copy that to your #UP# subfolder

the correct shortcut should bring up an IL-2 selector window first where you can adjust memory settings and mods files cache, etc

where do i put the #UP# subfolder? i dont see it in there already.
