Constant frame rate drop

I have a constant rhythmical frame rate drop when playing the game.
Frame rate goes from 70fps down to 25fps then back up to 70fps on a constant rate.

I have graphic setting to medium, I tried with anti-aliasing off, v-synch off, but no change.

I beleive I should be able to run the game without any problems
CPU:AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black 3.2 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon 6970 2GB DDR5
RAM: 8gb DDR31600mhz
For an instance I can run BF3 with all graphics setting at max with 60fps

Please help.

Am going to assume it's not hardware/driver problem.,has it always done this?,or have you just recently installed CLoD for the first time?..,I would check the usuall suspects.,
1. clear out the cache folder if you haven't already.,let it rebuild the shader files. @

and since your graphic card is ATI.,i do believe you have to delete Ubisoft intro video. Check here for more info.

Your welcome. I'm sure performance will improve after next patch though., we all hope.

indeed all our hopes are for the fixes for next patch. The code is flawed as they were forced to push it out the door b4 it was correct from begining.
