COD and IL-2 Series visuals in Documentary Interview Movie
 

Dave Hastie was a WWII South African Air Force Spitfire pilot who saw service in North Africa, Malta, Sicily and Italy. This interview Movie clip made by Tinus leRoux (Biltongbru), the interview having been done at Hastie’s house in Pretoria during January 2012.

The tale of Hastie’s bailout is especially interesting, and Tinus’ green-screening acting out of the pilot's predicament was superb! This is another great example of using Flight Sim visuals(IL-2 and IL-2 Cliffs of Dover in this case) to tell/augment a story. The days when only the History Channel could produce such shows, at huge expense for professional CGI graphics, are over. Amateur flight simmers can now match HC, and then some.
