A little confusion getting HSFX 5.0 up and running.

On the 242 Squadron page which explains how to d/l and install HSFX, step 2, after getting utorrent looks like this:

2. Download HSFX Version 5.0. Use this torrent.

http://161.53.204.25/TEST/HSFX5.0.torrent

and

ftp://89.163.173.82
USER: HSFX50
PASS:HSFX50.1

and

RAPIDSHARE:

downloadlink;filesize;md5
http://rapidshare.com/files/45390198...4F0F01014888BA
http://rapidshare.com/files/45390200...4B221DD4A30BF1

etc... there's like 50 parts.

Do I need to d/l every link, or is the ftp://89.163.173.82 and all those rapidshare files just a different, broken up method for getting the same thing? I realize they use the word 'and', but I just watched a youtube video where the guy only d/l the first link, with no mention of all those rapidshare files. This is why I'm confused.

Thanks.

Just download HSFX5.0.torrent and open in utorrent (or whatever torrent manager you are using)

The download of the main files should commence automatically and you will see the progress in the torrent manager screen.

The file will download in 9 parts total 3.74GB.

I always use the torrent download (using utorrent -- http://www.utorrent.com) and have had no problems with it.
You will also need the Hotfix patch http://102nd.servebeer.com/TEST/HSFX...ix.EXE.torrent

the ftp: link, User: and Pass: is an alternative download link --- Not needed if you are using the torrent download.
You need to have an ftp browser installed to use this -- like Fireftp (for Firefox)

The Rapidshare links are another alternative -- I think --. Ignore it.

Thank you, Asheshouse, for clearing that up, plus the additional info. Very helpful!

Cheers.
