Frozen Planes
 

I have created a dedicated server.I have one test map that I am constantly reworking.

I have two cmd files.The first loads the map and after an hour stops the battle and calls the second cmd file.The second file restarts the game and loads the same map.I do this to restart the same map every hour.There is not much going on so I restart every hour.

At the moment I am not running any clean up the dead plane scripts.

Anyway I start the server and then join via another machine.All seems okay as the AI are flying around and I can shoot at a few enemies.So I leave.

A couple of hours later I again join (via a different machine than the server) and all the AI planes are frozen in flight.Just sitting there in space with the prop stopped.

From the server console I invoke server.cmd

battle stop

missLoad missions/multi/dogfight/test1.mis

timeout 180 chat Welcome to Trollville Clod ALL
timeout 300 chat Map resets every hour ALL
timeout 3420 chat Map will reset in 3 minutes ALL
timeout 3480 chat Map will reset in 2 minutes ALL
timeout 3540 chat Map will reset in 1 minute ALL
timeout 3600 f server2.cmd
battle start

Server2.cmd is the same except it call server.cmd

battle stop

I got the basic cmd from this site but I cannot recall from whom.So to ever it was thank you.

Try changing server2.cmd to:

battle stop
file server.cmd
