Another When and Where Question
 

When I see the big message "xxxx requesting escort at yyyy in 10 minutes", when does the enemy get to coresponding "xxxx spotted west of yyyyy" message. I would expect that the "xxxx spotted..." message would come up 10 minutes after the "xxxx requesting escort...." message. That doesn't seem to be the case. I can rarely find these formations. Is this something that is completing under the control of the mission builder.

Depends on the mission builder.

ATAG. Do they not work the same for this?

You should ask them in the ATAG server thread.

The in game messages announcements that come across the middle of the screen in orange writing are put in by the mission builder... These are based on triggers and timings...

The Radar (and ground spotters, other aircraft etc) announcements in blue at the top of the screen are done by AI and players aircraft.
