My latest PC build
 

I just had to build a mini PC after I found this mini itx case online. I've built quite a few rigs at work, from the most basic office cans to hardcore gaming rigs -not as hardcore as Phats though :)- but this one is the first one that I've actually built for myself. Took about 30 mins from unpacking all the part and installing it to turn it on for the first time. Components used:

Motherboard: MSI E350IS-E45
CPU: AMD Zacate 1,6GHz dual-core (already pre-installed on the MB)
GPU: AMD HD6310 integrated (384MB shared memory from main memory)
RAM: Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333
DVD/RW: Samsung something something...
SSD: Samsung 470-series 64GB (already had it laying around)
PSU: Some Taiwanese no-name brand 150W unit that came pre-installed in the case

I wanted a computer that I could do all the basic day to day stuff with as little power consumption as possible. I don't like notebooks so much mostly because the small screen and poor upgrade options. This setup draws 15 watts on full load, I've measured it :). Total system price (excluding monitor and SSD) 200€.

Will it help if I turn down the settings from high to med-high?;)

That looks like mid-low end system for Cliffs of Dover. First of all get stronger CPU...

I hope you're kidding because I was. It's absolutely not for gaming, even though older games will play ok on it.

LOL! This setup was almost as cheap as possible actually:), I'm certain you'll get a much better similar setup in the states for the same price.

I would have to build a yellowish machine as my son has his Bumblebee :D He is really protective over it even he is soon 5 years old. Keeps it in the bookshelf behind a glassdoor :D

Nice job! I may have to start using my laptop with external monitor too. My main system draws almost 500W just at idle! :shock:
Im upgrading soon to SB-E so the old system can be rebuilt in a spare case with the aim of power conservation too and just use the beast when I want to game.

Im not sure if I could get used to just using a single screen again though even just for web and 2d stuff. Might have to look at those USB to DVI screen extenders to get multi-screen going for the laptop for 2d web and productivity stuff.
