hey guys do you know of racing games with no cheating

i set a wolrd record at gtr which for me grants theres no cheating

then i tried f1 2010 and the cheating was bvlatant and easy

do know any game with no cheating at which i could fight for a wr?

You could try iRacing - http://www.iracing.com/all-star/

I don't know if it's totally free from cheaters, but they take the whole thing pretty seriously, keeping lots of statistics and running official race series.

If you're fast enough to set world records with GTR you'll probably do well with iRacing, and if you get into the top tiers of that you'll be mixing it up with real life professional car racers, which could be interesting.

iRacing is pay to play, but it's not that expensive to start off. Check it out if you want to see where your lap times rank compared to some of the best real and virtual racers in the world.

I don't use the iRacing service myself, but I think it's worth a look if you're into that sort of thing (competitive car-racing simulations).

I've been in iRacing for 3 years. I love it. It's by far the most legit if you're a serious sim racer. They take cheating seriously and ban people, and you can file protests. Plus if you are really fast you can compete in pro series for cash and prizes. Many iRacers are real world drivers or started in sim racing and now drive in real world.

The downside is cost. It's membership, as you're paying for the whole online racing setup and service. You have to buy cars and tracks as well. But it's worth it, no dance required or crazy mod downloads. It's all automatic via their website.

Right now they have a deal 3 months for 12 bucks go for it! Use my name as a referral Matt Berndt if you give it a try. The default cars are a lot of fun :)

Three months for $12 deal is pretty good introductory deal. You can do a lot of racing in that time, and if you're a safe and fast racer it'll become evident even using the most basic cars and tracks...

Hey Matt, is it possible to gift a membership to someone? I'll pay for Raaaid to join up just on the off chance he's actually good enough to set some record lap times.

Edit - Just looked into it, can do gift certificates, but the recipient still needs to provide their own credit card details when signing up for iRacing. Over to you Raaaid.

BTW, what car and track and realism settings did you use to set the world record in GTR? And when you say world record do you mean you beat the fastest lap time that's been set using a real car on the actual real world track, or the fastest time recorded using the GTR virtual versions?

raaaid 01-11-2012 05:24 PM

a f3000 in anderstop

and i beat the fastest time attack which just took me 800 hours ;)

but im not sure i should do it

when i was about to set my record i saw bizarre things on tv like giantic tesla coils in las vegas and transhumanists intending to become god and other jewels

i guess it was stress

another thing with getting a wr is that the game has to fit your style some games like gtr evo fit me but some others dont

the thing is that i dont like monthly fees however low i prefer one payment to go so thanks guys but i think i wont go into iracing for being monthlly fee

Les 01-11-2012 05:28 PM

No worries Raaaid. It's true, racing can be stressful, take it easy.

You dodged that bullet......

Maybe you should try another Simbin title like Raceroom online (is free) or Race 07. I believe they all have world leaderboard like GTR.

iRacing rules. Now for the name dropping.
I've raced with, that means on track with me for position and stuff:
Louis Hamilton
Dale E. Jr.
Jaques Villanueve
Wyatt Gooden
Ryan Newman
A J Allmendinger
Bobby Labonte and
Alex Gurney
They all kicked my behind (except Villanueve, I think it was his first day) but just racing with these guys is extra cool. And it's never happened to me anywhere else.
And there's No Cheating :!:
