french army?

hi,

why not adding the french army as a DLC or new update?
there are enough different units, if you include tanks such as the ARL44 that actually never fought during WW2. but heh, what about the centurion tank?
this is just a suggestion, but it doent seem like any modder is interested in it.

French did nothing during WW2 and you know it. The only times they were actually active was in 1939 and early 1940. They would be flattened by other factions.

of course i know it, still would be fun to play it. using prototypes and stuff it could be ballanced. if it was an absolute historically accurate game, there wouldnt be the centurion tank for example.

IDK if there is a German Soldiers mod for Assault Squad but GSM 5 for MoW has the French modded in. They are pretty beefy in their time, the game is set to 1940 and in 1940 the French armor is awesome......they dont play like RL French in game.

This is untrue.
French fought and where crushed in june 1940 because of their general staff management. I f you think that almost 90000 soldiers killed fighting in only 3 weeks is nothing, you should review your definition of "nothing".

And even about the shamly capitulation act and the collaborating state following the defeat, the free french army participation was decisive helping the allied in Africa (El Alamein and Bir Hakeim) as in Europe (Monte Cassino, batlles along the Rhein, Danube and Berschtesgaden as exemples).
