Data
For your reading pleasure, can't have to much original source data.
No argument please, it is what it is, just original data for comparisons. http://www.targetrabaul.org/peril/Merlin_III.jpg http://www.targetrabaul.org/peril/merlin3curve.jpg http://www.targetrabaul.org/peril/sp...-rae-12lbs.jpg http://www.targetrabaul.org/peril/spit.jpg http://www.targetrabaul.org/peril/tu...6.5 lb CSP.jpg |
Thanks! Where did that development of the Spit from 38 to 43 come from? Never seen that one before

A thread like this only makes sense if its organised in some way - RAF datasheet/trial, LW engine specs etc. Otherwise it will become unmanagable quickly.
Oh, thats an arguement already. Old habits just die hard :D ps. the Spit development table is iirc from the Australian archieves, I may have posted it some time ago (or sbdy else. its public on the net) |

I agree Kurfürst, context is very important, but if you know your FM subject this caveat is well understood. This data might also help people to visualise the effects of ALT, RAM and Boost. I sense a lot of guys here are new to these effects and this may help them understand and learn. More data is always better, so this is, more data :) |
