Personally I wouldn't pay money for this add on. Well I might pay 5.00 Euros. Its probably a Spit MkI skin with John Dundas's markings on it and the same for Helmut Wick's 109. It will probably be a single mission that sets them up for their (alleged) dogfight near the Isle of Wight. You can do that yourself in the FMB.

You may also like to know that a few moments after John Dundas shot Helmut Wick down he was allegedly shot down and killed himself by Wick's wingman Rudi Pflanz.

I say allegedly because it is widely believed it was JD that shot down HW and was then shot down by RP although there is only fairly compelling circumstantial evidence (matching of records, known positions etc).

It will probably install (copy) itself to your missions folder.

Hmmm, when you are done making that single mission, please create a nice campaign framework with promotion/rank system that can auto-update... :D

I think they have put a lot of effort into this add-on and I wish it were available in english.

here a Update from Desastersoft for the Career and medal system

http://www.desastersoft.com/images_ext/Akte.jpg

Features of Career System:

Earn Medals by destroying enemy Aircraft, Ground Targets or an combination of both
Earn Ranks by Points. Every destroyed Target gives Points, but most points you get for accomplished Missions
Click on Pilot Photo and select own from any Place of your Hard Disk.
Click on Medal and you get a larger Picture on the left and a statement, for what you get the Medal, on the right

All this is based on an own Database and based on "Streak". If you die, you have to begin again from Mission 1. DiD.

So its more than just...
"Aces vs. Helmut Wick. J.C. Dundas: Deadly duel in November 1940 - Extension (Add-On) IL2 - Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover [Edizione: Germany]"

?

what does desastersoft's post in your link mean...
"Hello Folks!

Sorry, but we have been fooled twice by Translators for Wick vs. Dundas. Now we must make a cut, because it is too expensive and we do not think that there are enough customers that want to by this expansion. The Sales figures will not cover the costs.
So the Add On will be available in German only as Boxed Version.

Sorry, but thats fact.
Cheers
Thomas "

Isn't Dundas/Wick just a skin/mission add-on to the original desastersoft product? Or does it give you, standalone, all that medal career stuff?

Its not of interest to me anyway but I just think what they are charging for it, and not in English, is too much.
