How to make bombers drop bombs...
 

I could not say enough about the great detailed graphics of this game, and how realistic the flying is. Outstanding. Makes all other sims 1970's pong games. However, the lack of game play documentation leaves me handicapped. I would very much like to simply drop a bomb from a bomber. I can not. I did manage loaded the Bombay (after stumbling around the GUI and figuring that out on my own). The bay appears to have bombs in the list, but nothing drops in flight. Too, I can see no bombs in the open Bombay from an external view, if that’s possible. Why do I have no bombs to drop? What does it take to drop a bomb? Where are instructions for operating the game for such simple things?

online play is easy, there you can edit your armament.

singleplay, well ,you have to use the FMB. Put the bomber/fighterbomber you want on a map , than open the armament screen in there , select bombs and fuzes, than save this armament under a name! closecthe fmb, you dont havevto save the mission IIRC.

than this loadout is available in the planelist when playing a quick mission.

Not sure what FMB stands for, or how to put a bomber on a map, however I did select a bomber and load bombs and save it as default. When in the single player quick mission the bombs show in the bombbay list. (Though, in the quick mission I am not allowed to change anything, just look.) Still, in flight the plane will not drop a bomb.

Full Mission Builder. When you save there a bombloadout, you have this saved loadout available in the Quick Missions as armament option.

If you have bombs loaded and see them , and you cant release them......what kind of bomber, from what position (Pilot or bombardier) ?
