Missions impossible with e.g. German pre 1940 planes!
 

Hi!

I'm working on a coop mission in which I'd like German, Japanese, English and Russian fighters turning up in their up to 1939 versions. Although e.g. the BF-109 was first produced around 1935-36 something, I suddenly realized that no earlier 109:ers are present in IL-2 than the ones from 1940 :confused:... Except for the Gladiator I also may not find any flyable (i.e. not only AI, such as e.g. Hawk -38 ) English planes, so I turn up with Japanese and Russian fighters only :eek:...

Does anyone know if despite this, I might use some of the German and English planes from 1940 instead...? I mean, do you know from historic facts that they weren't modified from the e.g. -39 versions?

There is a Hurricane Mk1, the Finnish J8 version of the Gloster Gladiator and the Bf-109E-4 (which is close enough in my opinion). After that most of the other options (Bf-110C-4, Blenheim) are AI. You could try adding the CR-42 though.

try adding G-50, MC-200, cr-42!

Do you have any fact sheets that are showing they are equivalent (or rather identical) to the -39 versions - urls are most welcome :D?
